1st Time to the Snow!!

We took Hannah to the snow for the first time last weekend, and our friends Gina, John, and Emma came along, too. We were worried that the girls would totally hate the snow- from being cold, to all the gear they had to wear but we were pleasantly suprised when they both ran to play in it like they see snow every day! The weather was perfect, nice and sunny, and it actually got kind of warm after running the girls up the hills constantly. At first, they only wanted to dig and build a snowman (which we found out is a LOT harder than you would think), but we eventually talked them into sledding down a hill. We started out small, and then the dad's would creep them up higher and higher each time they went. After every single time they would both shout "Again! Again!" They just couldn't get enough, it was so cute seeing them enjoy something so much!


Loved sledding down the hills together! The parents took turns going with them too, but I think they liked it best when it was just them!

I asked Hannah if she was going to make a snow angel, and before asking how to do so, she got right down on the ground and started her angel! I'm sure she has seen it in a movie or something but I was pretty impressed she instantly knew what to do!

After seeing the parents take part in snowball fights both girls thought it was so fun to also throw snowballs- but for some reason Hannah kept aiming hers at me!! Maybe this was her way of saying "Stop with the camera already!!" :)

After a few hours of playing we had a little lunch break in the cars, but the girls were ready to go back out and play- they just couldn't get enough!

I love this picture, it shows just how much fun they were having! We didn't hear one complaint from either of them... until it was time to leave and that's cause they would have stayed forever if they could have!!

Towards the end we were all getting tired of hiking these girls up the hills in the sled so they just started sliding down small hills on their butts!

Hannah found a perfect hole that her tiny butt fit into perfectly! hahaha

For the way home I brought each girl a ring pop, Hannah was zonked out before she could even finish hers! She fell asleep while she was licking it! hahaha

Our first time in the snow with Hannah was a blast, it went perfect and I couldn't have asked for a better time! We were thrilled that she totally loved it and can't wait to take her again!
